FAQ

The Ecosol Company manufactures and markets innovative equipment that turn economically feasible the collection, transport and adequate destination, whether temporary or definitive, of solid residues and materials. Its solution consists of a system that places in bags residues and products that can be bagged. Its potential customers are municipal governments, service providers, condominiums, industries and farmers.

A series of factors determine the weight of a bag. Size, coefficients and humidity, type of residue or material to be bagged. In the case of Solid Urban Residues (RSU) the weight will be around 2 to 4 tons due to the diversity of residues.

The refill used to produce the bags measures 1.66 meters in diameter. The length of each bag is defined by the final user. The sizes will depend of the design in use, but the bags usually have between 2.5 to 3.6 meters in length.

Yes. However, the durability of the material tends to weaken along the years. The UV rays are the only enemy of the bags. After 3 years of exposure to the sun they start to show less resistance. If they are covered, the durability increases significantly so they can be stored for many years (according to the manufacturer if the bags are covered with earth, they can last up to 100 years). A simple canvas used for protection against climate events already increases the resistance considerably.

Yes. However, we could ascertain that (depending on the residue in the bag) part of the bags may show small perforations. Should the organic matter decompose along the time, the generation of liquids inside the bags generated by the bagged material could be observed. If the bag was punctured for some reason and no repair is made, these liquids can leak. We suggest a containment system if there is the generation of liquids inside the bags. The ideal would be a geo-membrane structure for depositing the bags, to protect the soil against any eventuality.

These are detailed in the THE SOLUTION tab. But they basically consist of a crane adapted with a hydraulic grab used in the handling and stockpiling of the bags. Optionally we offer a quick replacement system for the refill of the bags.

Yes, the bagging avoids the proliferation of vectors in the place, because the RSU will have no contact with external factors. Learn about other advantages.

The slurry extracted from the RSU in the compaction process must be sent for treatment in an effluent treatment station or, in certain projects, it is possible to have an own treatment mini-station, varying according to the customer needs. The customer can also develop a slurry reutilization process integrated in other processes.

Ecosol can supply bags if the customer wishes to maintain a single supplier. However, the customer may choose to purchase them directly from the company that manufactures and supplies bags.

Our solution intends to allow the final user to be able to manage the stored residues and/or materials according to its needs. We count with technological partners that supplement our solution with the transformation of the residues into some product. Learn more in Circular Economy.
