The Solution

The Ecosol system is an innovative solution based on three basic pillars: collection, compacting and bagging. The solution was conceived to make feasible the correct destination of solid residues, whether they are of Class IIA or IIB, in cities, industries and farming businesses, among other activities.

One of the great advantages of this system is related to the high compacting rate of the residue due to the many partial compactions that take place during the process, allowing the residue to be reduced in terms of volume from 3 to 4:1, the versatility of the system allows the generation of bags with different sizes weighing up to 3.7 tons.

Additionally, during the compacting process, a high percentage of the liquids present in the organic residues is extracted and stored in side tanks designed for this function, making their destination for later treatment much easier.

When the compactor is holding its full load (6 m³) the equipment moves to the transfer or the landfill station and produces a watertight bag containing the compacted garbage, totally isolated from the environment.The refill that contains the garbage is made of polypropylene, of the raffia type, laminated with a watertight polyethylene film specially developed for this purpose. Direct contact with sun rays and climatic events must be avoided.The bags so generated are then moved with the help of a hydraulic grab lifted by a compatible crane.

Presently, the technological innovation associated to the acquired experience allows the development of new markets and applications for the bagging system. To this end, ECOSOL has been working on the improvement of its organizational capacities.

TYPES OF RESIDUES HANDLED

Class IIA residues – not inert

Are those that do not fit the classification of Class I residues – dangerous or of Class II B residues – inert.They may have properties such as:biodegradability, flammability or solubility in water, as for example, paper, organic garbage, pet bottles.

Class II B residues – inert

Are those that keep their characteristics during the decomposition process and change the soil characteristics and not of the water. Some examples of this class of residues are: wood, Styrofoam, rubber, aluminum cans and glass.

The solution can be used in the recovery process of degraded areas, as garbage yards, by the immediate halting and the starting of the removal of residues from the area, making possible the later soil recovery

TEMPORARY OR DEFINITIVE STORAGE

The collector compactor bagging unit offers the versatility of collecting the disposed residues and carrying out the bagging for storage as raw material during the time the user deems necessary. The material can be used on a later process or, when properly structured, the area may become a definitive residue storage.

ECOHAND 4.0

A hydraulic grab is coupled to the crane by means of a quick coupling and has the purpose of handling the bags to carry out their stacking in piles according to the need and the customer’s available area, should the crane be used for other purposes it is very easy to undo the coupling.

ECOFOLD 2.0

It is an electromechanical device capable of accommodating the plastic refill in a compact recipient for the replacement of bags in the compactor. This operation allows a very agile execution of the replacement, therefore becoming a quick replacement system.

ECORING

Each bag refill holder consists of a tube capable of storing enough material for preparing bags in sequence, therefore optimizing the bagging process.
